SERVING CHRIST BY SERVING OTHERS.
JAMES C. FLETCHER, JR. COUNCIL 1142, ST. JOSEPH CATHOLIC CHURCH
DESCRIPTION: Founded on the principles of Charity, Unity and Fraternity, the Knights of Columbus was established in 1882 by Father Michael J. McGivney, assistant pastor of St. Mary's Church in New Haven, Conn., and a group of parishioners. Currently, the Knights of Columbus are the largest Catholic men's fraternal organization in the world. We are a band of brothers, a network of men in communities around the world dedicated to doing good in the service of God and our neighbor. Learn more about the Knights and their work for the Church and Community and meet the men of our own council, the James E. Fletcher, Jr. Council 11422, here at St. Joseph.
